MinimalRank uses Paddle.com as its exclusive payment processor and Merchant of Record (MoR). This means:

• Paddle handles all payment processing and billing
• Paddle manages global tax compliance and VAT
• Paddle provides customer billing support
• Full compliance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards

When you purchase a MinimalRank subscription, the transaction appears on your statement as "Paddle.com* MinimalRank".

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods through Paddle:

• Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
• PayPal: Available in most countries
• Bank Transfer: For annual plans (contact support@minimalrank.com)

Monthly Billing

• Charged on the same date each month
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime, access continues until period ends

Annual Billing

• Save 2 months (16.67% discount)
• Charged once per year
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime, access continues until year ends

Starter Plan

• €9/month or €90/year
• 25 keywords
• 3 projects

Pro Plan

• €19/month or €190/year

Taxes and Pricing

Prices displayed on our website exclude VAT. Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your fiscal residence:

• EU Customers: Country-specific VAT rate applied
• EU Businesses: VAT exempt with valid intra-community VAT number
• Non-EU Customers: Local taxes may apply depending on your country

Paddle automatically handles all tax compliance, ensuring you're charged the correct amount for your location.

Invoicing

• Invoices are issued by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record
• Sent immediately to your email after each payment
• Include all necessary fiscal details and tax information
• Accessible through your MinimalRank account dashboard
• Fully compliant with your local tax requirements

Payment Security

Your payment information is completely secure:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all transactions
• No credit card data stored on MinimalRank servers
• Paddle is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant (highest level)
• 3D Secure authentication when required by your bank
• Fraud detection and prevention systems

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

1. We'll retry the payment after 3 days
2. Second retry after 5 days if needed
3. Email notifications sent for each attempt
4. Account suspended after 10 days of failed payment
5. Data retained for 30 days to allow reactivation

Plan Changes

Upgrading Your Plan

• Changes take effect immediately
• Prorated charge for the remaining billing period
• Instant access to new plan features and limits

Downgrading Your Plan

• Applied at the start of your next billing period
• Continue with current plan features until then
• Ensure your usage fits within new plan limits

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime from your account dashboard
• No cancellation fees
• Access continues until end of paid period
• No refunds for partial periods (see Refund Policy)
• Data exported on request before deletion

Price Changes

• 30 days notice for any price increases
• Existing customers keep current price for 6 months
• Option to cancel if you disagree with new pricing
